Eastern Idaho State Fair

Experience old-fashioned fun at one of the largest fairs in Idaho. The Eastern Idaho State Fair is celebrating 124 years, attracting exhibitors and attendees for nearly half of America’s 250 years in existence.

Not only does this fair feature the best livestock and agriculture from Eastern Idaho, it also showcases thrilling grandstand events, live concerts, competitive rodeos, powerful tractor pulls, a demolition derby, local arts, carnival rides, and notorious fair food. No matter your tastes, there is no lack of things to see and do.

Biking & Hiking Trails

Weather cools, colors change, and trails delight travelers. Choose from hundreds of miles of Biking Trails and Hiking Trails with breathtaking foliage and scenery in Southeast Idaho.

More ambitious racers can choose from formally organized races. During the LoToJa Bike Race, bikers traverse 3 states in one day, all the way from Logan, Utah, through Southeast Idaho, to the destination in Jackson, Wyoming. Liberty Bell Tour

To celebrate America 250, Idaho’s Liberty Bell Tour launches with a two-day visit to Pocatello. Spudjamin Franklin helped dissemble Idaho’s Liberty Bell from in front of the Idaho State Capitol in Boise, where it will be reassembled when its tour is complete. Be a part of living history and catch the bell on its fall tour now that it’s had its foundry tune-up, or dive into the past at one of our many Historical Sites.

After exploring fall festivities, autumn leaves, and historical sites, it is time to cozy up in your Bed & Breakfast or more traditional Hotel.
