World Famous Lava Hot Springs Ribbon Cutting for newly renovated hot pool

Lava Hot Springs Renovation

In November 2025, the World Famous Hot Springs in Lava Hot Springs began reconstruction on their hottest hot pool. This enormous feat included redirecting water that naturally bubbles up from the ground to other hot pools at the same facility. Contractors dug, reinforced, and built new foundations, walls, steps, and an ADA-compatible ramp.

After months of hard work, this renovated pool opened in September 2026. The same hot springs flow into this new pool, and it is built to last. Soak in this newest renovation or one of the many Hot Springs in Southeast Idaho.
