Registering you snowmobile pays for trail
grooming and warming huts! Please help.
Snowmobiling Registration Requirements
On or before November 1 of each
year, the owner of each snowmobile must register the snowmobile
with the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation (IDPR). IDPR
or its authorized vendors issue the owner a registration. The
registration fee is $32.50
for personal machines, $62.50 for rental machines
(a $1.50 vendor fee is included in
those figures).
Nonresident certificate requirements
Idaho requires all out-of-state snowmobilers to purchase
a nonresident snowmobile user certificate. The certificate costs
$32.50 and is available at authorized snowmobile registration
vendors. It is good for a period of one year.

Permits and certificates can be purchased
through the mail by sending a check for $32.50 made out to the
Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation. Send the check, along
with the make of the snowmobile, to:
